do i need to readjust panhard bar??

Default do i need to readjust panhard bar??

hey guys im picken up some vogtland springs saterday, and i have heard from some shop that i have to readjust my panhard bar because the car is going to sit about 1.2 inch lower!! is this true??? and if so i have no clue how to adjust it!! thanks

Yes you will have to readjust it to center your rear end again.

It's pretty easy. Just get a plumb bob and hang it from the top, middle of your rear fender and measure from the outside lip or your rim to the plumb bob that is hanging. That will tell you which way it needs to go. I see you already have an adj. panhard so take a look at it and you will see a threaded piece on it. You just loosen the jam nuts and then turn the bar itself or you can turn the nut and adjust until you are satisfied it is centered.

I use two plumb bobs (one on each side) hung down the middle of the fender from the body with some string and masking tape, and measure to the center of the axle. Adjust accordingly, and you're all set.

Yea I meant 2 plumb bobs, one on each side. I guess you could misread my post since nothing is plural.
