Which Bisteins for the rear?

Which Bisteins for the rear? OK, I know that bilsteins are on backorder for who knows how long, and they changed the shocks during the last year or so making them worse, but what if I buy some 3rd gen rear shocks for my camaro? Are these considered better for my stock springs than the "redesigned" 4th gens?
