Jeeze I think a piece of wood would be more stronger that that arm!

Could you use a flat piece of metal on the inside with longer bolts for support? I had thought about this tourqe arm. My firend has it on his car pulling I think 1.2s or 1.3s 60fts pulling the front wheels about waist high with no problems! But the more I think about it you would have to buy a drive shaft safety loop at another I think 50 bucks! The more the other companys units look better price wise most of them come with the loop already! Also like the wise man said you can like it or not but "you pay for what you get!"

I installed one the other day. I had a Spohn adjustable arm on. The jegster adjustable one weighs about a quarter what the Spohn piece does. It seems rock solid to me and it gives amazing clearance. After I sell the Spohn arm, I am going to install my long tubes and then go to the track to see how it helps out my 60 foot.

bringing this thread back.

How do you install the adjustable jegster torque arm? It seems like it would be no better than the non-adjustable if I simply slide the rod all the way in before installing??

how did everyone else do it?

Default Jegster Torque Arm?

Ordered non-adjustable version & plan on installing as soon as possible.

1996 Camaro Z28/auto/c5 17's & 18's

Any before and after 60ft times?

I know, I am bringing back a old thread. On a good note the search button works!

I had it on one of my cars a while back. I didn't care for it. It did what it was supposed to do. But it preloaded the rear end too high for my liking on the street. Everytime you would put it into gear it would lift the rear about an inch and no adjusting (mine was adjustable) would correct this. I called Jegs and they said this was normal. For track use it wouldn't be bad.
