Default hawks pads are making my car sound like a junker

They have a constant chirp that is consistant with speed, it goes away when pressure is applied, then i usually squeel to a stop. Is this normal? The pads have about 50% life remaining. They came on the car when i bought last week.

I had this problem on stock rotors with hawk pads. Switched to Brembo drilled rotors with hawks and now they are very quiet.

Which Hawks? I LOVE my HPS's, quiet and they don't dust bad, they bite well when cold, and kick *** when hot. If you're running the more agressive ones (HP+ I think) I'd expect some noise.

Maybe try some of the anti-chatter grease from Autozone, Pep Boys, ect.
