Default Brake Help!!!

I recently purchased 4 Baer Eradispeed rotors (cross drilled and slotted) with Hawk pads...The rotors and pads are built to fit my car (1999 Camaro SS)...and a friend gave me complete set of c5 calipers (front & rear)....will c5 calipers fit on my car with no modifications???

The ideal way to fit the C5 calipers is usually with a C5 bracket. There are many types available. If I were to do C5 brackets though based on my homework, I would preferably get the Trackbrackets.

I think there might be a way to direct fit them, but I'm not completely sure.

I thought they bolt right on. ...only one way to find out, pull one of your old calipers but do not disconnect the line and see if the C5 fits....

..the c5s have smaller pistons, however, so you may want to keep the f-body calipers.

...did you buy c5 pads or f-body pads; they are not interchangeable?

Your old f-body pad abutment brackets will work with f-body pads. If you got new C5 pads, you also need C5 pad abutment brackets; right? I think both C5 and f-body abutment brackets will fit with either c5 or f-body calipers, however.

C5 caliper conversion brackets allow you to run 1 inch bigger c5 rotors. --->
