Hello,

I don't think Edelbroke has updated it or changed it.

If you need help with a torque arm please contact us and I will be glad to help. http://www.umiperformance.com/produc...ategory_id=130

Thank you!

I sell Edelbrock, it's one of the lines I can easily get and for a competitive price. I also never sell that part. I sell UMI's. Simply put it's stronger, and when stock TA's break, it's usually on the thin mounting flange just in front of where the TA bolts to the axle itself. On the Edelbrock, that's still a very thin part...

That's why on my website, you'll only see a variety of UMI arms on my site. I do have others if you'd like to discuss them (and I think that's a good idea), and I'd happy to do that..

Regardless of which torque arm you select, feel free to check out our video on setting pinion angle. It's on the front page of our website. This procedure applies to any adjustable torque arm, regardless of the manufacturer. Here's the link :

www.bmrfabrication.com

If you're concerned about quality and strength, then you should consider a torque arm from BMR. Our torque arms have been race proven. We have several customers with 1500+ horsepower running our torque arms. No other torque arm manufacturer can say that.

Also, BMR fabricates all of our torque arms in our factory in Florida. This allows us to control the quality of our parts. Believe it or not, many of the biggest names in the suspension industry do not make their own parts.

Good luck with your choice and I hope our video is helpful!

I bought the Edelbrock Torque Arm about two years ago. For my mods it works fine. I had a one wheel peel issue that turned my car into a wheel hop monster and it remedied it. I mainly got it because it was a quick fix (Summit Racing is local to me). I understand it`s probably not the best though and eventually I want one that doesn`t go on the transmission.

Wow, that picture scares me. Has anybody actually talked to Edelbrock about this?
