pinion angle when i set my pinion angle i just measured it at the rear and not on the drive shaft..BMR recommend measuring rear angle and subtracting it from the drive shaft angle..is just measuring it from the rear ok? my rear is set at -3..mybe this is my traction problem?

tried to set my pinion angle via BMR's web site. when my pinion angle reads -5 my D/S reads +5 which equals 0 so if i keep cranking the D/S angle seems to stay the same as the pinion angle..IE if the rear is -7 the D/S reads +7 and pretty much the best i could do was a -1.5 maybe..but she is vibrating like shitty under 40mph..help me out im confused..thanks, Tom

if the car is on a flat surface, take the reading of the d.s then take d.s off pinion yoke, rotate pinion yoke straight up /down so the machined face is down, take reading off of the yoke, do your math and change angle as needed. see if that helps any, its the same method but your removing the d.s.(4 nuts) instead.
