Default Upgrade to Crossmember TQ Arm??

I have a question...I've been thinking about upgrading to a crossmember mounted torque arm. I currently have a Adj. BMR trans mounted torque arm on the car. Would there be a benefit in traction when going to a crossmember mounted unit? I know there would be less strain on the tranny, but would there be much more of an advantage with the crossmember mounted one?

My car basically has every suspension mod done to it....LCAs, Adj PHR, shocks, lowering springs, Etc...

Any help would be great.

Do you drag race the car?

No, I forgot to add. My car is basically set up for the road course. I never plan to drag race the car, so straight line acceleration isn't a huge deal.

Also, the car makes 475/450 RWHP/RWTQ.

Thanks

I'm not an expert, but I here the longer tq. arm is better for road racing, the shorter chasis mounts cause wheel hop under hard braking. But you can get the cross member to use the long tq. arm you already have, if you just want to remove the strain from the tranny.

Yeah I noticed I was wheel hopping during hard braking, which totally sucks

Keep your tranny mounted one then.
