Default what other parts are needed after lowering a car?

I will be lowering my car in the next month or so. My question is, what parts will be required to maintain good suspension geometry. Will I need to get an adjustable panhard bar, adj ta, etc?

dont necessarily need the TA..... lower control arm relocation brackets, adj panhard bar........ maybe some subframe connectors for less chassis flex... and most go with some aftermarket shocks to handle the springs they get

It will actually be stock springs on hal 12 ways. I am just working with a limited budget and am worried that I will cause undue wear on some parts.

The first part I would recommend changing out would be the panhard bar. Depending on how much you lower the vehicle this will effect how far off center the rear will be. We offer several different choices which can be found here-

So should i hold off on lower control arms and opt for a panhard bar?

i'd say panhard bar (to keep the rear centered) and lower control arm relocation brackets (correct lower control arm geometry to reduce traction lost).
but if you get the relocation brackets, you lose that nice roll oversteer. i miss my roll oversteer, but i love the re-gained traction.

if you want the car to handle better, sub frame connectors will reduce the chassis flex. i'm sure upgraded lower control arms do something too, but whatever that is - i take for granted now.

i think some of the aftermarket torque arms have problems that require 'adjustments' for clearance after lowering.

I did not need the relocation brackets. But I would get an adjustable panhard barto recenter everything.

Relocation brackets aren't necessary, but they are going to help your launches a lot.

So when you guys are saying that the rear will be off center, do you mean that it will actually be more left or right, or that it will b ean issue similar to an alignment problem?

The rear will shift more to the right the lower the suspension travels. An adj PHB will correct this. If your car is primarily a corner carver, leave off the LCA relo brackets. If its a 1/4 mile car, get them.

Both, the rear will be more to the driverside of the vehicle which will cause alignment issues.
