Suspension questions! Currently my car is lowered in the back, i believe it's the stock shocks because when i hit a bump...i can REALLY feel it, BOOM, makes my radio skip. I got a front sent of eibach pro kit springs, but want to put shocks on all fours at the same time. Now my first thought is koni, very expensive tho, but this is my DD, what kind of konis would be my best choice. I think there are a couple kinds out there, and if someone could point me to a sponsor. |

http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...D=21&ModelID=8 I found this...i already have the springs? and i can't afford the konis right now, would this be a good choice?? HELP SAM! |
The SA's work well. Springs with out new shocks is a mistake imo. I would not get springs untill I got shocks that are able to handle the job. |
A z28/formula triangular bumpstop would also cushion the impact compared to the WS6/SS bumpstops which are square/blunt shaped. I'm not saying that's a solution, but there have been people who have reported it makes it ride a little better. You really need better shocks for the prokit! |
No, those Bilsteins are not valved for a lowering spring. I think Sam is now recommending KYB AGX if you can't swing Konis. Just call him. He's very friendly and will give it to you straight. |
If you want to know if your shocks are stock, they should be an orange color and say decarbon on them. |
