Need sugestions on bleeding brakes
I just replaced one of my rear calipers and I bled the system twice and I still have no brakes. After I start the car the pedal goes to the floor. Its a 95 z28 no traction control. I followed all the steps in the manual and I did bleed the abs modulator and still no luck. Any ideas Thanks
Edit: Also my E-Brake light is stuck on now even though the brake is clearly off.

Did you mess with the e-brake cables?
Did you get the right caliper for the right side of the car? If not the bleeder will be at the bottom of the caliper and all the air will be at the top of the caliper so it will never come out.

I found that with ABS you need to have the key in the igntion and on, not running while you bleed the brakes. I think IF you pressure bleed them by pushing the fluid throught the master they may be able to bypass this.

I've done mine three times. I didn't have the key on, the first time I wen't through the brakes, and the peddle felt like mush. Then With the key on I bleed them once again and they felt rock solid. I don't know if this is how GM does it, but In my experiance what harm could it do to leave the key on while bleeding the brakes?
