LCA's and brackets will cure that wheel hop

Torque arm, lca's and the relocation brackets will all help with the wheel hop

Lca's first, then if the wheel hop is still present I would use the relocation brackets.

If you lower, you'll want relocation brackets and an adjustable panhard rod to correct the geometry issues. I'd go with upgraded LCA's at the same time. If that doesn't work (it didn't on mine), go for a torque arm. The Pacesetters sit up nicely and won't rub on a lowered car--but you have to tuck the y-pipe well.

The lower down your lower control arm mounting point on your axle is compared to the lca mounting point on the chassis, the better off you are at curing the wheelhop and putting down better overall traction.

One guy in a local message board was doing 2.5 60 foot times until he put on lca relocation brackets. Now he's doing 1.7 60 foot times. There's probably some "learning how to launch" factor in there as well, but that's almost a whole second better.

So he cut a full 0.8 seconds off of his 60' times with only that one mod...right. I can assure you, they don't work that well, and that isn't the whole story.

hence why I said theres some learning how to launch factor possibly in there too. obviously not many can launch the same every time, and the more you do it you probably lower the time. Either way, that's a good improvement and sufficient enough for me to personally believe that the lca relo brackets helped improve his 60 times

You're better off asking people who've tested the before and after effects of the relo brackets on the strip. Not sure if Sam has done that or not.

There is POSSIBLY a learning curve involved?

I'm lost. I can't tell if you are laughing at the fact that I suggested there's a learning period in getting your max 60 times down, or if you are laughing because there obviously is one in sarcasm.

I've never been to the drag strip before, just the local spectator drags that I participate in, so I can't really tell what type of 60's I'd pull my first time. But I'd imagine my first one won't be that great.

If it's anything like the local event I do, there's a learning curve there. It has taken me a few years to nail it down too, out of 4 events a year.
