Default questions about caliper carrier bracket material and brake forces

Okay, I'm doing stress analysis on a caliper carrier for a 98-02 f-body as a project for school. I was wondering if anybody knows what it is made of (i.e. grade of steel) and also, if anybody has force data for the braking system such as friction coefficient of pads (i've seen range of .42-.67) and what pressure the brake system operates at under peak braking. Thanks for any help!
