So what are the mixed results? I only ask because in reading the title of this thread, I expected someone to be upset. It really can read that way, and the implication is that there is a problem with the springs.... It seems that's not the case (and I didn't really expect it to be the case), but it leaves the impression that there is something wrong. Would I be out of the way asking if the title were changed a bit? After all, the springs were not intended to be run w/o the isolator. While you can do that, it's not the way I meant them to be....

i changed it back to run with the isolator and it rides way better. the cars responds alot better. didnt mean to impose anything about the srpings sam , glad i waited for them.
here is what it looks like now
now my next question is why does it settle after xx amount of time? what settles in the spring?
also should i wait for it wo settle before i do an alignement? right now my alignment is not far off though. it still tracks straight but i realize it may be off a bit still
i really want to try this suspension out but havent got a chance.
i also have some sub frame connectors i didnt install, how much of a difference will i see from those . will they hurt times at all?
and last but not least how much do new sway bars help?
not really looking to go full out autox but love a car that handles good.
thanks

Just align it. One of the things with out springs is they don't "settle" much if at all after the initial drive. All springs will because when they are made they just compress them once or twice to set them. But the weight of a car on top of them does it again. Quality springs, meaning those of proper material and design, won't change 1/2" (and there are some out there that do).
I'm going to take a different route on the bars. Drive the car a while, see what you think, and see what--if anything, you'd like to change about the way it drives. If you want more roll control and quicker response we'll think about bars. If you love it, then great and we're maybe done.
The biggest mistake folks make is not thinking about the car's behavior. This is what parts and setup changes alter. I'm not going to throw parts at a car just because. The have a job to do, figure out if you want that job done, then we can talk about what parts.

how about the sub frame connectors? do those make a noticable difference or should i sell them? i know they weigh a bit more and all but if they are worth it i may do it.
right now i amvery happy with how it rides.
the front still sits a bit higher but not much.

They won't hurt. They are even street prepared legal now in scca autocrossing. They make awesome jack points as well. The question that they considerably stiffen up the chassis on non-drag cars with low power that dont launch on slicks is debate-able. They don't really effect your suspension and handling

Without starting yet another SFC debate.... They are chassis parts, not suspension parts. Not one of my wins including the national champions has been in car with SFC's on it... And bear in mind I'm running on autocross specific tires that even road-racers are running on now because of the grip. Not that uncommon to see 1.2g, and for more than just quick peaks. I submit I ask more of my car than most anyone else in the handling or suspension sense. The only thing that can put more stress into a chassis is a crazy drag car that will carry the wheels on launch, and lands hard.
