Bmr lowering package for the win

its only a 1" drop but you get the LCA reloaction brackets and the adjustible panhard rod you should be running at the same time any way.

Our lowering kit actually is closer to 1 1/4" drop. Here is a couple of pictures of vehicle with our springs-

It does say 1" on the BMR site but I put them on my car and the rear was closer to 2".

i like hotchis, the ride is not ruff at all and it lowers your cars just enough, from what i read 6 months worth on all threads eibach sags in the back, bmr is too ruff sometimes, hotchis had the best feedback from all the threads i read, its not bouncy its firm like a rock but gentle on train tracks and over bumps, i installed them myself and i really like them, when i did my aligned my car the rear was not out of wack like i thought it would be its within tolerance after the lowering, so i held off on the panhard bar and the brackets, its really not necesarry , no wheel hop, it aunches better, i had these drag bags on my stokers because they would rub my tire when i hit a nasty bump, now that im lowered where you would think i would really need them i dont at all.......if your cars is for daily driving i think go with those cause its just tall enough to go over those parking stops.....

Well, from what people say on this post, it looks like 65% voted for Strano and its seems like everybody is very happy with them, so I think it will be worth to wait till June to get me a set, it will give me enough time to purchase all the suspension upgrades needed!

Mine did, it also rode way too soft and would bottom out easily.

I have the Hotchkis on my Mecham as the standard for the Mecham package and really like them. The car has the perfect stance/rake and also has a firm ride like a performance/handling car should.

Is it just camera angle or is the red car sitting lower in the rear than the black car?

I used Hotchkis and it slammed my front just a little bit more than I would like, but it still maintains a good, firm ride. Hotchkis advertises a 1inch drop, but it looks to be considerably more. See pics.

The first 2 are before Hotchkis. The last 2 are after...

Looks like most go with Strano, Think he was in GMHTP few issues back. Eibach is 2nd so far, well I don't feel too bad as I have a set of sport lines to put in I may not like them but I was just wanting to change the look.

No... it's not luck of the draw. You won't find exact drops listed because there were varying heights on the cars bone stock. If you take two cars and one stock is .5" higher than the other, and put the same springs on, the drop might well vary by a bit. After all the cars weren't the same height to begin with.

Further you can't account for stuff in the car like big stereo's or tools.

A lot of springs make claims, but as you look around very few routinely hit the estimated drop mark within any sort of reason, all the time. That was one thing I wanted, and that's why I'm often out of springs. I didn't go with any old spring company, material or design. Hence I have a long lead time to get springs that are consistant.

Like I said ....varying weights and companies...that is all I meant......'Luck of the draw"...you can approximate the drop....BUT...you cannot say this particular vehicle will come down this far...unless you want to get into Mathematics....BTW--My car sat at least 1/2 " lower than any I had seen.....I agree there pal....different cars...different drops....

1/2" is too much variance from set to set on cars that were similar heights to start with. And LS1 Pro-kits are the worst offenders for being, quite literally, up and down.

Not every set is bad on height, though your case is being helped by the bigger 12 bolt axle tubes.... Your car would be lower in back with a 10 bolt.

As for loving the ride, I'm glad. But perspective is everything.
