installation of qa1's come in please got the full r series qa1 12 way adjustable shocks with 275lb front springs. how far up did you adjust the nuts on the shocks to make the front end be straight and not slouching when the car was on the ground? i heard since those springs are so soft that you have to screw the nut far up. just wondering how far up should i start at i dont want to spend too much time adjusting it. i heard start 3/4 of the way up. |

i did mine 6.25" from the bottommost thread on the shock body to under the locking ring. gave me 26" to the fender that way. |
I had to do my fronts up 51threads on each side for a normal ride height. |
Trial and error, I'm still moving mine a bit to get them to where I'm happy. I either have them too high or too low most of the time. |
actually maybe it was 27", i dont remember, but it sat right, a little lower in the front. |

I have the 315lb springs and set mine around 7 1/4 from the bottom thread. Yours will vary obviously but it will get you in the ball park. |
