Rear-end lowering mod?

I remember seeing this mod awhile back on here about lowering just the rear end a cheap and easy way. If anyone knows what im talking about please help me out.

I would like to know too!

Called the HOSE MOD...you remove the rubber 'puck' that your rear springs have...and wrap/put hose around the top coil of your spring..lowers it about an inch...take a look at mine...I have prokit on front...hose on back..and BILSTEIN shocks all around. I actually stuck a small length of rubber water hose on the bottom also..no squeekies.

OK i new it had something to do with a hose.

Is there anyway to do the front too? Cheap like this?

Not really...pick up some springs for the front.

On the front, you can use the lower spring perch on Koni SA shocks.

Do some searching in the Suspension section and you'll find plenty.

How does the ride feel by doing this? Still offers a smooth ride like replacing it with lower springs would?

you cant tell the diff really.. if you have a TA DO NOT DO THIS WITHOUT LOWER FRONT.. its looks retarded... lol... save yourself the work.. without putting rubber around it it squeeks but thats it.

i have done this to alot of cars it lowers the rear of the car 3/4" on all of them. If you have DMS spring it makes it look really good. If you have a pro kit keep the rubber isolators in and still add the hose to the 1st coil and it will get rid of the ugly saggy rear look that the pro kit gives you
