Default Anything I should know about changing brake rotors?

I'm going to be changing the front brake rotors on my 99 WS6, as soon as I get it back from the body shop. I have new rotors, they are stock dimensions, but look a little nicer.
I've done brake rotor swaps on all kinds of vehicles, from ford trucks to little front wheel drive cars... each one is different.
But I'd like to know what, if anything, unique I'd need to do this on my Trans Am? Anything I should know in advance, or is it pretty easy?
Are there any tools that I might not have that I would need?

nope - totally straight forward. Make sure you have a thin strip of wood and a C clamp since they are 2 piston calipers up front.

Yeh, and my rear rotors were frozen with rust to the rear hubs. ....took several huge bangs with a BMH to get them to release.

...fronts float a tad so you should not have an issue here.

Don't set the e-brake. Hey, it had to be said. Be sure and lube the slider pins too.

agreed. When i did mine it was just like doing any other rotor swap on any car i've done in the past. But yea, do not forget a C-clamp.

Are you guys referring to the bearings as the slider pins? I lubed mine and I can't seem to get the bolt back in..Any tricks? Ive tried a hammer and a vice grip to finagle it in. This is the bottom bolt on the front caliper(has 3 bearings).
