Default Right Rear spring rubbing ?

I got on it yesterday w a 100 shot and now my R Rear spring is rubbing. It is making all sorts of noise. It sounds like it is getting hung up on the top coil. Echo sound, then lets up and you can hear the boing !. WTF ?

Call me Captain Obvious, but something is DEFINITELY wrong there. Check to make sure everything is still where it's supposed to be. Torque arm, upper and lower panhard bars, LCA's, etc. Looks almost like your rearend is WAY off center.

Maybe se if you have a friend that has an adjustable panhard bar and see if you can pull it back center. Seems like thats the problem to me also.

I haven't looked at the tops of my springs in a long time, but that last small coil looks like the lower perch coil. I seem to remember the upper coils all being so wide that they wouldn't catch the perch at all.

Maybe I'm wrong.

OP: can you post more pictures, maybe from a wider angle?

Spring doesn't appear to be upside down.

That looks like the panhard bar chassis attachment point I believe....

I don't remember exactly where the spring normally sits compared to the phb point. In any case, the rear end is held there by the control arms, panhard bar, shocks, and torque arm. Check each one. You did remove the panhard bar for that photo, correct???...

Check all the attachment points, bushings, your rear wheel alignment with your fenders....

Yes it is. It's just not seated all the way down, which is likely because he's got the car jacked up and the axle is hanging.

Again, hard to tell exactly what is going on from those pictures. It almost looks like the whole axle is shifted to far back.

For comparison's sake, this is what mine looks like (pardon the dirt).

If possible, remove the passenger rear wheel and take some side shots of the suspension. I think that will give us more of a clue. Also, bolt your panhard bar(s) back in. I'd like to see what it looks like all put together.

All I said was it's not upside down. Not being seated in the cup and upside down would be two different things

Just got back from the dealer. It is the torque arm, service guy don't know his parts. The torque arm is snapped (more like ripped) on the top of the diff with a 1 inch gap. The bottom mounts on the Torque arm shows it slide back almost a 1/4 inch. The drive shaft started rubbing on the brake line braket but that isn't too bad. I'll have to put aftermarket parts on and get a relocation braket. 100 shot is WAY too much for stock parts.
