You can buy factory powder-coated calipers from gmpartsdirect.com. There were special edition f-bodies that came with them. I bought a pair rear factory powder-coated calipers to go with my black C5 brake upgrade.
I don't have the part numbers handy, but I wrote them down and have them somewhere. If you want the numbers, let me know, and I'll look for them.

That's too bad for the price, AutoZone used to carry red powdercoated rebuilt calipers for our car, they sold the pair for less than $150.00.

You must have a better technique than me. I've tried both ways (on the car/ and off with a good cleaning), I even clear-coated them, but the sand and rocks from the street seem to be merciless. Powder-coating seems to durable enough to withstand the sandblasting. Whatever works!

Pm Hilton. He has my old ones I took off my car and he will probably sell them to you pretty cheap. Then you can take those to someone local and have them powdercoated. I bought some off of ebay and had them powdercoated and then put them on. I think it was about $100 to get them powdercoated and they looked great afterwards.
