Default 4 Channel Rear in 3 Channel Car

What exactly would happen if you put a 4 Channel rear in a car designed for a 3 Channel? Would the ABS just not work or would it mess with the entire braking system?

Thanks in Advance.

The abs would just not work. Your brakes are mechanical until the ABS module detects tire slip and then takes over until it is rolling again. Without the correct signal(s), way different, it just won't try anything. You'll have straight up mechanical brakes.
