Considering a few brake upgrades, advice needed So in its current state the brakes on my car will not lock the wheels. I've been considering some options but right now it looks like the ls1 upgrade is the best I can do with my wheels (17" TTM's).
The car's a daily driver and I understand that most people here will tell me that good pads and good rotors will be more than enough. I was wondering if there was an aftermarket caliper that bolts onto ls1 spindles that could be used with stock ls1 rotors. I know that the CTS-V caliper does bolt up but it needs a 14" rotor. This is mainly a looks concern and I realize that the only benefit may be slightly better pedal feel.
I've searched and found nothing and I really hate the look of oem calipers no matter how they are finished. Thanks for the help
