Default new rotors and pads....change brake fluid too?

on the box it says to change the brake fluid with new pads and rotors. the fluid looks alright. its not dark but not clear either. I dont know when it was last changed. Ive been having pulling problems too and i dont know whats causing it. I also dont know how to change brake fluid.

also, would it be safe too put on these new rotors and pads before fixing the pulling. I dont want to mess up the new stuff incase its brake related.

my car has abs.

If I were you I'd....
1. have alignment checked
2. install brake pads and rotors
3. flush fluid

I will be installing new rotors and pads soon and I'll also flush the fluid since it haven't done it since I've owned the car (2.5 years), I'm sure it's due.

i did have an alignment done a few months ago and it was pretty out of line. it didnt seem to help much. Ive also rotated the tires and greased front slider pins.

Flushing out the brake fluid is never a bad idea. I'd recommend it.

In addition to what's recommended above, if you still have problems with the pulling:

1. Have your steering rack and steering system components checked.
2. Make sure the tyres are balanced as well.
3. Since you mention that your alignment was way off last time, you may want to inspect the front lower control arm bushings. Knowing what the Chicagoland weather can do to bushings, you might have one or more worn lower front control arm bushing.
