I'd reccomend only using a MIG wire feed welder set @ 20amps.

Welding is like sex you need good penetration as well as puddle control.

i'd just pay someone to do it. I took had my bmr tubular sfc's welded at a shop thats done it before...and it didn't seem very simple.
they took a while to get it done.

It is simple if you know what your doing
