Default time for new brakes....

so i am starting to hear the front sensors a little when i brake, i figure its time for a little upgrade from stock. I saw the sticky about brakes but i didnt really see where there is one specific "best" setup. I will be driving the car 99% on the highway and regular streets, only on nice sunny days no rain (if that matters or not). The car will rarely see the track (again if that matters or not). I want something that will make the brake response feel a lot better, also want it to look better without sacraficing quality (meaning i hear drilled and slotted are actually worse than just slotted cause the holes tend to crack).

Anyway please give me some suggestions on what you guys would go with or what you have and how you like it? I am leaning towards hawk pads but not sure which ones and which rotors to get. Not looking to spend a ton like on a vette upgrade or anything, just want to stop quicker and have nice looking set up that wont break the bank....

thanks guys

Brembo blanks 300
Hawk pads ~180
steel lines ~100
For the best general set up that is proven.

You could even go with Valuecraft blanks from autozone ~60 for the front 2.

Strano sells a package.

WS6store sells them all individually:

thanks for all the info, it will really help me get my brake project under way. Are the brake lines hard to install myself? I change my brakes/rotors/calipers myself so would this be hard for me to do?

edit: also are all the stainless brake lines that ws6store sell pretty much similar? or is it worth the extra bucks to get the RPM or Russells over the Earls?

yea i talked to sam about my konis and springs i am looking into, he reallllly helped me out. I am gonna go on his site now and check out what he has to offer in the brake department. Also no one has answered my question about the brake lines whether the more expensive ones are worth it or are the Earls just as good?
