upside down lca's

I was changing my lca bushings, when I was done I put the lca's the way they came off. apparently one of my friends told me they were upside down. Will this harm anything? It doesn't look like it will.

Based on the physics alone it shouldn't really matter, but I'd rather have them installed with "open channel" side down which is the way they should've come from the factory. As a side note, most of the forces exerted on the LCA's are mostly in the ends (e.g. bushing/bearing areas) and not as much on the central areas of LCA's themselves (which is why welding a reinforcement plate, otherwise known as "boxing" them, mostly adds weight).
