Default EBC rotors, one year later

Ok, so here's my opinion post about EBC rotors I purchased last
year in a GP here.

Put them on myself, all was good. Looks sharp, but as I was
cleaning them to put them on initially, brake cleaner removed
the paints on the hats. Bad news, I didn't repaint them, they
rusted pretty badly. Pretty much the whole thing rusted pretty
badly, except where the pads cleaned them.

After a few months, I began to get that old familiar feeling
again...WARPED ROTORS!

Well, finally had the rotors looked at. Pretty bad hot spots
and warping on the fronts, rears slight warped. I went ahead
and replaced the fronts with wagners. Rears you can barely
notice since the fronts do most of the braking.

All in all, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with EBC.
I don't race, don't drive hard at all, and they didn't last very
long.

Yeah, my EBCs (bought in that GP too) rusted up pretty ugly too I am considering painting the hubs with some black hight temp paint or something - can't stand the rusty brown look. On the flipside, I do not believe my rotors have warped (knock n wood). I don't auto-X or roadrace my car at all, but I do drive daily in rush hour traffic in all types of weather.

Anyway, I'm keeping 'em until I can afford some new (better) ones Thinking about getting some Wilwoods eventually

I had the AutoZone rotors on the front of my Formula. And you KNOW I put them thru some work. Never had any issues with them except that rusting center area. I'd recommend them for a cheap alternative, but make sure to paint the centers first. They were like $45 each I think.

Yeah, when I get around to replacing them again, as I know
I will, I'll get some AZ rotors and paint them up.
