What's it worth? 35th SS

Curious how much it's worth. It's a 6 speed, CME, all new brakes, 58k miles and really clean inside and out. I can't remember what the build number is but it's suppose to be really low, like 8 or something if it matters.

Anyone know? Thinking around $10k?

Little bit of both, Camaro is likely sold so I need something to drive, just so happened to pop up for sale. It's the brothers car of a good friend of mine at work.

Just don't wanna lose money off of it. Gonna drive it around until I find the right truck and then sell it.

i know one came to carmax once they appraised it with low as miles and it was like 13k

probly worth about 10k if its clean with under 60k miles. These cars usually sell some where between kbb private party value and kbb trade in unless some one comes along and its just what they are looking for and willing to pay a little more.

Is it a 35th Ann Edition or just a 2002 SS?

retardedpenguin Nov 27, 2010 10:58 PM

It's the anniversary edition, red with the stripes.

If it's in good condition I wouldn't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to get 10K for it. Based on a autotrader search 10k is doable.

And I paid 16k for a non CE TA with 28k miles.... I think I've been ripped!!!

Shackleford Nov 28, 2010 04:14 PM

Personally, this is a car I'd keep.

I wasn't really too sure on picking it up but I guess I am gonna go for it. Looked ok but it needs the rear bumper and spoiler repainted, also needs a good buff job.. Interior needs to be cleaned desperately, all the wheels are curb checked also.

Maybe offer 9k for the paint job it will need and the wheels fixed. Is the rim bent/missing a piece on the last pic or is it a bad angle. I wouldn't mind paying 8-9k for this car considering the low mileage. Again, thats if I had money. :(

retardedpenguin Nov 28, 2010 11:13 PM

Yes they are all curbed, you can get wheels fixed though right? And I am getting it for a hell of a lot less than that but it does need a lot of work, it's all little things but still, stuff adds up quick. I really didn't want the car but I fell in love with it for some reason.

Thanks for all the help guys, I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't lose money on the car since it's just something I will only have for a few months until I find the right truck. This poor car needs to be saved too, the owner is a really cool guy but this car deserves to be treated better.

Yea, I believe wheels america can fix them up in Dallas. Good luck post pics when you get it fixed up.
