Default installed hooker lts today

well i finelly got around to putting my lts on it was deff a pain in the *** took me and a buddy about 6 hrs to do still have to put the tds on and a few other things before its done driver side is byfare the hardest to get in well worth the exp though thought i would share ill get pics whin i am done and maybe a sound clip

you jack up one side at a time for easier clearance? Cool to hear someone else is installing them themself! Pics soon!

no i have it on jack stands about 2ft up in the air worked well driver side is deff a challage i will get some pics tomarrow whin i am done with it

Ive found lifting one side at a time gives just a few more inches clearance.

well i am done with the install but the tds hang way to low like 2in at the dumps trying to figure out how to fix it thinking about takeing it to a muffler shop and see if they can heat up the pipe and push them up more

that will change the angle for your exhaust...run it intothe floorboards more. good luck

well i got them to pull up better today have about 4in at the dumps got pics of the set up thanks for the help all and what kinda clearence do yall have on your tds threw in a pic of how hi i had it whin i installed the headers

My bullet mufflers are about 2-3inches from the ground I think.

its got about 3/3/4 at the dumps some one was telling me i had the pipes comeing out the back of the x pipe where up side down thats why i cant get more

Here's my advice.

Take the fuel line brackets off the inside of the tunnel and flip them, then re-install the lines. This will move them away from the pipes. Bash in the floorboard a bit where the bullets start. Put a jack under the bullets and jack them up, massaging everywhere they hit. Once they are up high enough, mount the hangers.

You can also chop off the bottom of the dumps even with the 3" coming out of the bullets.

Watch the torque arm to x-pipe clearance. Don't be afraid to dent the pipe to make a little room.

I did this with my TSP true duals and got awesome clearance. It took quite a bit of bashing, and some time, but you CAN make them fit right.
