If this guy isnt Jesus and taking us believers to Heaven, than we are all set up for an extreme disappointment according to the media and the have-nots.

What, you mean we shouldn't be cheering for him because of mainstream media and the celebrities?! I always do what they tell me to.
Screw the media. I'm curious to see if they'll turn on him if he messes up. They've been kissing his *** the whole time and he hasn't done a damn thing.

hating? Is this a joke or is this another ignorant liberal speaking? Im pretty sure the media has mentioned every pointless thing that obama has done in the past month. We'll see if he delivers, Ill always stand behind my president, no matter what kind of mess he is in. It's always good to put yourself in others shoes, especially when it comes to being president. So when people say Bush did horrible, go research him and see what he has done, than maybe, just maybe you might appreciate him a little more...

I've already seen a couple articles comparing The Chosen One to Lincoln and Kennedy. Can we at least get him in office and let him DO something before declaring him the greatest president of all time?
The one HUGE positive I take away from all this is the sense of optimism. He might not actually do any good, but people will be so convinced he is the answer that a lot of problems might correct themselves, and he'll get credit for it. In a way, I don't care if he gets credit for something he didn't fix, as long as it gets fixed. Just like Bush gets blamed for a lot of stuff that went wrong on his watch, even if it wasn't his fault.
What will be interesting is in about three days, when the hooplah dies down, and people remember they still don't have jobs, the economy is in shambles, and the reality sets in that The Chosen One will not be able to fix everything overnight. Then we'll see if he starts taking heat.
