Never had this much trouble getting a crank bolt out and I've done A LOT of cam swaps, then again this is the first time I used an ARP. I didn't even torque it to spec, probably about 175ft lbs or so. Didn't use thread sealant either, just put it in as it came. Already broke a 1/2" breaker bar and an extension, give me some tips or come pull it out for $50.

Anti-Seize is your friend on the next bolt. Get a bottle of propane, or better yet, mapp gas at your local advance auto etc. Heat the end of the bolt as hot as you can (if you can get it cherry, then awesome), take the heat away, smack it as hard as you can with a hammer, drip some oil on it (or stick an unscented piece of wax all around it) then impact it. out it will come. A combination of rust and no high pressure lube on the threads before install is probably what got ya.

Gonna try again tomorrow guys, just stumped me this time cause this is the first time I have had this much trouble. I would try an impact, but I don't have air tools, going to be my next investment now! lol

Voting for Impact Wrench. When Aster was preparing for his procharger install, we pulled his car in my garage and both got on the breaker bar. With both of us pulling we just twisted my 1/2" extension completely 360* and it snapped off in the socket. He took it down the street to his neighbor and hit it with the impact... success.
