1 Mile free for all!
Who's running in the Texas mile event this weekend in Goliad TX. Topspeed is my favorite way to push my vette. Hopefully I can hit 160 to 165mph, making 410 rwhp & 403 ft tq.

I will be there watching.
Should be some fast mph on Friday and Saturday becasue it looks like there will be a 15-25mph tail wind. Sunday looks like you will be going into a head wind.
So c6r expect to be in the upper 160's (166-168) with your power.
See ya'll there.

I'd love to do it but I don't have the goliads to push this box much over 125 mph. Gm engineers didn't even no how to spell areodynamic when they released it onto the streets.

Log on to Texas mile.com for the rules and directions, you'll need a small fire extinguisher driving gloves and of course the legal helmet. Not a hole lot considering how fast you are probably going. I hit 159 last time out ,Z06 were running 168 to 173mph. Kinda scary the first couple of times because the pavement ain't the smoothes in the world but by the third try you get the hang of it. cost $195.00, speed cost money" how fast do you want to go?

Talked to a friend that was out there in his C6 Z06 CAI, LT, tune (495rwhp). Went 180mph today. He went 173-174mph in October. He said all people re at least 5mph faster today then they were last year.
