Default Headrest removal in 02' Collector Edition TA

Anybody know exactly how these come out? My other Z28 had a little depression I could push and pull them out...this does not. Has a hard plastic piece on the back of the seat coming up and around the back half of the seat (width wise). The top middle part of the plastic behind the head rest has 2 screws which I took out, but plastic has no give to it...??

there is a black plastic clip, about 6 inches long or so that goes in between the head rest posts (when you have the head rest pulled up) Push the front to back, or back to front to remove, its quite easy once you see what im talking about. After you disconnect that, and remove the seatbelt guide, the rest is trying not to rip the leather as you manuver it off.

OK, push what from front to back?...the headrest itself? I am not trying to take the leather off the headrest. I have a seat cover for the drivers seat to protect it, but can't get it on until the headrest is off....thanks

I'm trying to recall if I ever pulled them off my '99. I thought I had. I seem to recall a plastic cap that popped off, and screws underneath...
