need help on paper im doing a research paper on why mma is safer than boxing any suggestions.
so far i have

and thats it so far. it has to be 6 pages and im on page 3 now.

I'm not into MMA, but it seems to me (from the limited amount I've seen) that MMA refs are quicker to step in.
How much gambling is there on MMA? Whether boxing fans want to admit it or not, organized crime has a huge influence on the outcomes of lots of boxing matches. Maybe not at the highest level, but definitely at the club sport level.

How about the length of a match. The max any mma match goes is 25 minutes, and that providing its a title fight that actually goes the distance.
As opposed to boxing which can go 36 minutes if they go the distance.
Plus most mma matches are only three rounds rather than five, so in all, less time to get hurt possibly.

MMA is a much younger sport...if the sport had been around since the turn of the last century, who knows where they would be as far as deaths and serious injuries from a statistical standpoint. I would compare stats from the 90s on to try and keep things relevant so fars as deaths/injuries.
