crankcase pressure probs
crankcase pressure probs well i just did the ls6 valley tray mod. i have the c5r valve covers on my motor. so the only form of pcv line i have is the one that goes from the valley cover to intake. well i went and did a 2nd gear hit. car was pulling strong. soon as i let out i got a puff of smoke. got home and the dipstick had popped out. so while it was off i ran the motor and it didnt puff out of the hole or anything when i revved it up.and it doesnt smoke on acceleration. i know my motor is pretty much new. and cylinder pressure is good on compression check. what do you think is this not enough venting or do i have to run the second vent line from valve cover to throttle body? or could it be a dipstick o-ring prob?
