PICS: Late Model Racecraft - LMR - Dyno Day/Car Show at the new shop! First off, I want to thank everyone for coming out. We had a great turnout! It was good to meet new folks, put faces with names, and see the rest of y'all again! The pizza was good but this truly was the highlight of the day, seeing you all and a bunch of kickass cars! We put over 40 cars on the dyno on what ended up being an honest 100 degree day. Not the best day for dyno numbers, plus our dyno is known to be a tad conservative, but it was GREAT fun nonetheless. Some people got to dyno their car for the first time, which is sometimes rewarding but ALWAYS an eye opener. Had all kinds hit the rollers: Ford, GM, Dodge, and some imports too, including a Subaru and a little FI Miata that put down 300+. We'd hoped to have some of the well known dyno queens in town put on a show but I think the heat scared them off. :devil: There was one really nice white Supra on hand, but a dyno wasn't on the agenda for it. It took a fairly stout Procharged C5 Z06 that gave 560 rwhp to take out the runner up Mercedes twin turbo V12 sedan that showed up and put down 535 at the wheels. No doubt that Benz hurts some feelings, and probably some wallets. We had a highline opportunity to be able to show off our own product, too. It was VERY rewarding to be able to do a couple of back to back runs with our cold air kit for the 2010 Camaros. One was against an L99/auto 2010 Camaro that was totally stock save the CAI and Corsa axleback. I'll mostly let others share their results so we're not tooting our own horn too much, but we're very happy with these results. The "other" CAI had the benefit of a cooler motor but somehow we used STD CF on this one instead of SAE like we usually do. awsome event +1 on having another one when its cooler thats why i didnt put mine on the dyno. maybe ill have the dope on it by the time they do another one. And yea i ran up on that white supra on 290 on my way to the shop at first i wanted to run him, until i heard that turbo wind up and saw it leave 30 feet of black marks at 60 mph. Damn that thing sounded mean anyone know how much hp that car makes. Shit i need my direct port system, damn economy!!!!!!! |

We dyno'd a couple 1000k plus hp cars but they were just an exibition thing. |
Did you dyno the forklift or ice cream truck? |
