just wanted to let you know, the new game is about to come out and i was bsing at work and found a list of cars that will be on the new game. they only have about 100 listed with the projected 400+ total. that and they are adding drag racing to the new game.
cars that you guys would like:
2000 Transam
1970 Firebird/transam cant remember what they said
09 zr1
06 z06
09 ctsv
2010 camaro
69 ss camaro
1967 stingray
there still is no listing for the 4th gen but remember there are still another 300+ cars they are adding. they had it in the last game so id imagine they will have it in the new one.

Just bought Dirt 2 to hold me off until Forza 3. Extremely unrealistic horrible game. Complete waste of money. Just a warning to all the people who like driving games. Read the reviews and seemed good, but I was horribly mistaken.

The only thing that even slightly looked dissapointing so far was the drag racing. Has anyone seen the trailer with the Dodge Challenger doing a wheelie? The suspension doesn't do anything. The front wheels don't extend out when in the air. The car doesn't squat at all. Maybe the gameplay will be a little bit different. I was just a bit dissapointed because I am looking forward to the drag racing alot more than the road racing.

Drifting is fun. I started doing that after I unlocked everything, and did all the races. That is whats so great about the game. Its a game of endless possibilities. Anything you can do in a car in real life you can probably do it in Forza just because the cars in the game respond so realistically. The game was never designed with drifting in mind (as far as I know) but the cars respond in ways that allow you to do it. To me this is pretty damn cool.

It really depends on the car. There are tuning calculators if you look them up on google. There are also drift tuning walk throughs on youtube, though most of them suck.
A good way to start out is getting an AWD car to learn with. They are very easy to drift with, and you could drift just fine with the stock suspension tune. An Evo would be a good car for this.

yeah the game wasnt designed with drifting in mind but physics were designed after real life, so you can technically take any car and make it drift giving the right circumstances, thus with tuning you are able to drift any car in that game.
i dont like the awd to practice with. i recommend the ae86 (1986 carolla) to start out with, that car can practically drift stock and you can slowly add power adders and stuff to make it break the tires loose easier. other then that just buy all suspension upgrades and fine tune it to drift best with you. everyone is different and has different techniques.
