You guys think my hand is broke?? *pics* Here is my pretty little hand. Happened a few days ago and i've ignored the pain/discomfort due to not having insurance.. (my job doesnt offer it 
)
If you guys think its broke, i'll got to the ER later to get it checked out.
If it is broke, do you think they will put a cast on it? Ive never broken a bone so I dont know what they do.
The pinky doesnt move up very well, it feels like someone is pushing down on it while im picking it up, like pressure.
Clear Lake Area, any advice on hospitals?

Not sure, as I'm still a student but the only way to be for sure is to get an X-ray. I would bite the bullet and go get one done sooner rather than later. If it is broke then yes they will put a cast or splint on it of some sort.

yeah I think I will, this is my left hand which im left handed. I had to sign my name at my son's PTO meeting 2 days ago and I could bearly grasp the pen, much less sign my name.

Did you punch something/someone ? It looks swollen, and from what your saying it sounds like it could be what is called a "boxer's fracture".
As for care, I would try and find a private ER, you will have to pay the bill when you leave, but it will be much cheaper than a hospital bill. A hospital will let you walk out without paying anything, but a significantly larger bill will show up later.

Yeah probably. I got into a fight with a couple kids a long time and broke my hand. Is the pain constant? That's pretty much how you know. I broke my arm(small fracture) also and it had the same constant pain as when I broke my hand.. Didn't really hurt that bad but the pain just wouldn't go away. Make sure you get an X-Ray soon, your growth plates are in that part of your hand.
You will get half a cast with the bandage wrap to hold it in place so you can still take it off if you need.

Well im broke, 1,142 dollars in bills paid today, so i got like 4 bucks. Ballin
So no money, but i'll make payments on a bill, thats fine. I did punch something, i have anger issues.. But it IS swollen, but the bump on my hand is hard, not fluid. Feels like to be a bone

Yeah, it's a baby fracture. Just need to go in and get a cast or keep it from moving for a few months if you really just can't afford it. I don't think X-rays are all that expensive either.

LoL.. Yeah, i need to make sure it is okay, so I will go tonight and have it checked out.
A friend told me to go to St. Johns off Nasa Rd 1.. I just wanna make sure its okay and doesnt heal funny because it seems to curl and not lay straight. If have to stretch it at times by laying my hand on a flat surface

sounds like you might have a 4-5 metacarpal fracture. def get an xray, if any fragment is angulated and heals incorrectly you will lose quite a bit of range of motion.
