I wouldn't have been able to handle a Texas loss. I live in College Station and there would have been rioting in the streets. Why do the Aggies get more satisfaction out of Texas losing than A&M winning?

This was just more proof of how badly broken the BCS system is. There is no way TU should be playing for a national championship when there are better teams that are being left out. There is no way that this is how it would go down if the coaches got a vote like they should. Even the idiots in the AP know better.
The only good news is that Colt McCoy probably killed his Heisman chances.
I'm the same way. A TU loss means more than any other teams victories. I like almost every school in Texas and route for all of them, with the exception of TU. I can count on one hand the number of players out of TU that I've ever liked.

I give the Nebraska coaching staff credit. They severely outcoached Texas and the UT coaching staff has a LOT of work to do. I'm sure Saban and Co. are licking their chops. The question is which Bama team shows up? The one that beat Florida tonight or the one that was fortunate to beat Tennessee and looked very average against So. Carolina and Auburn?
Just when you think a team should win easily in a big game the underdog rises up many times. I think Texas will relish being an underdog for the first time this year and will use it for motivation.
The better team won the game though. Let the haters hate and let them live vicariously through other teams to try to beat Texas when their team can't get the job done. UT is one win away from national championship #5!
