iunno man, there is a "SS" RPO code but i dont know it off hand and my paperwork is in my car (too lazt to go get it) it looks real to me the only thing that is throwing me off is the seats (which could be custom) and the doors, i also though all SS's came with the vinyl or leather wrapped doors... but maybe it was an option or he switched with his other camaro before he traded it in or sold it... everything else looks real to me, im mainly going by the exhaust tips, i mean who would go through all the trouble of the SS hood wing badges which are like 50 a pop and even do the exhaust??? but there are weird *** people out there... are you lookin to buy this car?

title says 2002 Z28, and the 8th from last character is a "2", so it is a 2002. Not sure why they are calling it an SS in the detailed description. The RPO code is WU8, but I didn't see any pictures of it. Those seats look somewhat familiar, not sure where I have seen them before, if you wouldn't of said anything, I would of thought they were OE SS seats. Its also weird on the doors.

Weird...

Nah, Not lookin' to buy. I didnt think ANY RED 2002 existed unless it was an LE. I have seen people completely clone their Z28's to SS's.

The VIN should clear this up.

I also saw a Z06 for sale at T.D.A. that was listed "Stolen".

There is a guy out in Austin Tx. that can mimic the car covers and those look like the type of work he does.

The OEM look like this.

and can only be purchased through GM with a matching VIN.(Last I checked)

WOW!!! Thanks, I am beside myself. I didn't think there were any Red 2002 SS's. Wouldn't that make it easy for one to clone an LE?

I need to add a "Question mark" to the end of the title or change the title to reflect I don't know ****! lol!

Mods?!

I looks legit to me except the seats are not original. I think it was cloth interior and someone changed the seats to leather and made them look similiar to the LE seats.

Yep, it's the real deal. He has a picture of the RPO sticker and it says WU8 on it, which like said above is the SS RPO code.

The seats don't look all that bad to me. I like the 2 tone. He should have gotten the doors done at the same time though. Looks tacky to me

Way to jump to conclusions. It is a real SS, just looking at the door decal. It was obviously a cloth interior car, and had aftermarket leather seat skins installed later.

The LE cars have their own RPO code.

It is definitely a very clean looking Camaro. It would look better if the doors were leather to match.

Honestly believed there were NO red '02 SS's in existence.
I know... I suck!

Clean looking Camaro. I like the combination (Color, seats, convertible, 6spd). Just needs to get the doors covered in leather.

There were 1,714 Red convertible SS's in 2002. 35 of those had this type of cloth interior.
