lol its an lt1 do you have any idea how much a pain in the *** it is to change the plugs and wires on these cars, much less the exhaust manifold. i can tell you up front if you find a shop to do this if they will even touch an lt1 its probably gonna cost alot also on lts1 alot of the aftermarket headers will burn the wires if you don't route them perfect and put some kind of heat wraping around the wire itself. not trying to discourage you but its a PITA.

you have to do plugs and wires while your there not to mention all the stock lt1 bolts like to break...and to put the new ones on you have to remove the oil filter starter oil cooler and motor mounts and jack it up to get them in...then gettin all the bolts started straight and doing them all with a wrench sux! ask me how i know...

yeah lt1's are a bitch, but they are not that bad... remove that oil cooler, there is not point to it, shave the bolt that holds it in so you can put the oil filter back on and that is done, starter takes like 10 min and you might be able to slide the headers in without jacking up the motor, but you might have to, and i believe you gotta remove the ac compressor too... it's really not as bad as it seems... good luck with the install

i dropped the k when i did headers on my lt1, took me just a bit longer to get it done, 1 day though including all the bsing i did while my friends were over while we were doing in ... dropping the k saves all kinds of headache and busted knuckles ... and bleeding the brakes is a welcome tradeoff to that

ive done quite a few sets, its not to bad, but yes its a good idea to do plugs and wires while your in there, the only thing you have to undo is the oil filter starter and steering knuckle, takes about 4 or 5 hours to do them right routing all the wires and such. is this a daily driver or something you could drop off and have done
