Default HELP: Just bought SLP exhaust - How much is this gonna cost me to install?

I purchased this exhaust about a month ago and just wanted to get an idea of how much it would cost to install it. The set up was cut in half so that it could fit in the back of my truck. It was removed from a 2000 Z28 and will soon go on my 2001 SS. About how much would it cost me to get it installed?

looks like someone got you, those bends and welds make it not look like a slp product....

take a look at the split where it turns into two pipes after the axle, plus that looks like regular muffler shop piping. i hope you didn't pay "slp" price.

Default Cost me $80

I purchased this exhaust system for $80. I knew that the only thing that was legitimately SLP were the mufflers. The only thing that interested me were the mufflers and the tips. Each would cost $90, so i think i still got a good deal

I would just clamp it in place yourself, then drive to the muffler shop and tell them you just want it welded up. Should not be to bad.

I just paid $100 to get a cat-back welded on at Lone Star muffler on Telephone Rd, no y-pipe though. Give them a call, shouldn't be much more.

Or do it yourself and put a butt joint clamp on the cut part. I would have done mine but the rust wasn't worth the hassle for $100.

80 bucks is a good deal for that exhaust, especially with the Corsa Clones. I had an exhaust installed and welded up for $100 a few years back, but it was cat-back only, no y-pipe.
