its actually kinda nice when it does this, i always go pull all the trash (tons from the hurricane right now) out of the mud behind my house so i can fish without getting hooked on all kinds of crap. when it went out this time i pulled out 1/2 a porta potty, 10+ tires, a rusty v-twin engine, and part of an old dock.
the fishing was ok when the tide was going down, before it got too shallow, i caught 2 16'-18' reds with some shad between waterford harbor and watergate right off the bulkhead

After I typed all of that I just realized he said it was from the hurricane. lol
