The car made 556rwhp @ 7500 rpm through a t-400, 5200 PTC 8" converter and a 12-bolt with 4.11 and a 325 drag radial with a pump gas, hydraulic roller setup. What is the most impressive is the power curve.... nice and flat, not peaky at all. Props to everyone who helped make this project a success.

Ernie aka Niceguy

thing is sick ! i seen it yesterday at the kemah (homedepot) meet !

I was surprised to see Mike as well, but it was nice to see everyone I haven't seen in a long time.

Seems to be low on torque for that size engine..

I guess dyno numbers don't mean anything though..

I was thinking the same thing, but I figure the intake perhaps?
I have a very similar combo and make about 490rwtq, a bit less rwhp.

Peak TQ is usually around 4800-5400 RPMS.

The converter is flashing past peak TQ. Hence the low numbers. Take it to the track Ernie and enjoy your 9sec N/A Time Slip!!!

Dyno numbers do matter. If its a turd on the dyno then most likely its a turd on the track.

I've made a few blast down 518, but nothing too crazy.

I like the single wiper. I've been contemplating if it would be that large of a loss losing the center one. I don't think it would be.

Hmmm...Neil Chance 5,000rpm 8inch here.
Regardless, that is one sweet looking car!
Love the hood, hate the pins...otherwise, I'd have one on my car too.
