well i got a s10 that i did a ls1 swap. its a 00 ls1 that the 310rwhp with shorty headers.
well i just did heads,cam and ls6 intake. i did the 5.3L head ms3 cam from texas speed and performance. i have a built 4l60e, built 10 bolt with 4:10s and a 3,600 stall. also have some billet 20s with 275/30/20 tire. now it only put down 363rwhp. i was thinking i would get over 400rwhp. when i was getting it tunned the stock injectors really where not cutting it. started to try to run lean over 5500 rmps, but i just ordered 36lb injectors to help out.
so.....what do yall think or anything i need to do? should i have more rwhp then what im putting out?

what stage 5.3's? also what throttle body are you running? and yes stock injectors will fall flat on their face with an ms3. you should see much better peak numbers once that is done. also what MAF are you using? plz tell me its not an SLP maf.

yeah something is not right. i made that with boltons. im sure once you get your inejectors in and tuned you will probably pull the extra hp out of the motor.

Hmmm we still have stock injectors ms3,ls6 stage 2.5 heads, fast 92,nick williams 92 and zo6 maf. The car put down 470 rwhp and 411 tq @6800 rpm were the rev limiter is set. Power never fell off. Thought about bumping the rev limiter up a little to see how much more we could get out of it but don't want to break any thing.

i have got the 2.5 style 5.3L heads. i have a stock t/b on it. i was thinking about getting a ported one off of ebay. a guy sells them for 44.99 and you send him your old one. is it woth the money to buy one? YES it was the slp maf, but i have took it off and got the zo6 maf

well i just ordered the one off of ebay. so now i am playing the waiting game on my injectors and t/b. when it all comes in i am getting it retuned and dynoed. ill post my numbers when its all done

oh i guess i should have specified, if they are 99-00 injectors then they will suck, 98 and 01-02 injectors are all 28.xx lb/hr. the 99-00 are 26.xx lb/hr IIRC. OP has a 00 like me.
and yes z06 maf > slp maf.
