Ill be leaving from Granbury and headed to Cherry Point NC, just wondering if anyone had any advice. Will my car be ok at 2100 RPM for 200+ miles at a time over and over. My car is dependable but man the ORY is gonna have me insane by the time i get there, and my dang radio quit working last night "lucky me". Just any general advice would be great mods are in sig. any prior issues with the vehicle?

i would do the normal checks before making the drive. tire pressure, fluid levels, maybe change the oil, check bolts on the suspension to make sure nothing will rattle off, check exhaust

i may be making a voyage up to virginia with my car and im not having any doubts. just going to put in in cruise control and go.

Seems someone is going to Another Good Ole' Marine Corps Base! Well seems I need to bust out my Marine Corps Lingo haha....well You definitely need to do your prevent-age Maintenance before you leave and check over EVERYTHING...it would really suck to turn you trip into a nightmare...then every time You fill up for gas go over you ride and check the usual fluids air pressure, basically everything the guy above me said!.....Have a safe trip and get that Whataburger burger before you leave!

if it hasnt given you problems in the past and everything checks good i dont see a problem driving it that long. ive driven my 86k mile 93 z28 on plenty of 1500-2500 mile road trips with no issues at all.

i just drove my 90k mi ride from LA, CA to Savannah, GA.... like 2800 mi or somethin like that. just change every fluid in the car, pack several gallons of water, and do a good pmcs on the car... that way you know what to worry about when you drive it. other than that, get your radio fixed.... that is a must. I cannot live without tunes on a long ride like that, and I did it with true duals dumped.... t tops off and radio blaring

you shouldn't have anything to worry about. double check all of your fluids, invest in ear plugs, and a mp3 player then set it on cruise and enjoy the scenery! i drove my car with well over 100k miles to d.c. and back from houston fully loaded down with crap and didn't have any problems. keep in mind these cars are the same as any other vehicle/truck...you shouldn't have to do anything special!

i changed all my fluids, and took it to the chev dealership for an alignment and a good once over of everything, tell them your going on a 1300 mile trip and theyll know what to do, alignment and the check up cost me like 100 bucks, well worth it IMO
