Default My 02 Trans Am against a 68 Camaro

Easter weekend I headed to Arkansas to visit my brother and decided to hit the local 1/8 of a mile track and found some good competition with some guy's 68 Camaro. The Camaro was a beauty with a big blower on top that you can hear whine all the way down the track. The first run the track wasn't prepped and my trans am just started spinning pretty bad right off the line and he got me real good. A few runs later I felt my car hooking good so I decided to hit him up for a rematch and got him. He said he only put down like 360 horsepower but man he ran good, I've got a 408 stroker and put down 460 horsepower but then again mine is full weight plus a 300 pound custom subwoofer box.

Supposed to wait until the other guy pre stages before you stage. and get a practice tree, haha. where are the helmets and driving jackets?

Pretty cool you drove around him. Good job.

Cool, But I remember a few blown cars around Odessa when I was way younger that were just plain nasty. Love the whine of a roots style supercharger.

This track was like a mom and pop type of track hidden in the backwoods of Arkansas. All the cars were just having fun, nobody seemed to have helmets and nobody really followed the rules while staging, I have a couple of more vids to show:

This one was my second run and again I spun bad and the second generation camaro was extremely fast:

Then finally started get good traction:

And better traction:
