Anyone with knowledge on trailers???
Found this trailer on my grandparents property and they gave it to me. It looks to be like an old boat trailer for like a 16-18" boat. Needs alot of parts but the frame is steel and is in great condition, looks like previous owner (dont know who is) welded on a rack on the front end for something else. I want to try and sale it or fix it up if it can make me some money. If anyone knows anything about them let me know please, looking to get rid of it asap. Thanks

It takes money to make money . I was in the same situation but I got a HUGE propane tank and welded on the trailer and make it into a BBQ smoker . Check the bearings and see how it rolls to make sure its balanced .
Edit : I did eventually sell the smoker for 4,000 dollars . When it was all said and done the smoker had Burnt orange UT logos and a full size spare . All the bells and whistles

Damn man I bet that was a good little profit, sounds like a pretty sweet BBQ pit too. Yea I need to make my way back out there soon to check on the bearings and all that.

def not stainless. damn thing would be worth 10k in metal.
you could probably sandblast it or hit it with a 6" wire brush disc and then some rusto and some new trailer tires and fenders, would clean up halfway decent.

Someone told me here in Austin, (where I live at the moment). There is a place that gives $9 per 100lbs of steel... Anyone know about scrap metal prices? Because if that right then I might just do that because im not looking to dump money into something like this. Just never done it and dont know if I wanna start right now.
