I wish....

One was a V6 (!) that I quickly bought when my '72 Corvette was getting a complete repaint and I needed something to drive.
The other was an SCCA prepped G-ride with a ZZ3 crate motor. Sold it in 1998.

I make fun of turd gens all the time and I own one.
Zane are you going to stand for this? lol

friend of mines 91z also very clean and done right.

I know most "turd gens" I see are banged up, but you've got to remember, the awesome 1st and 2nd gens were once banged up and snubbed just like these third gens have been in the last decade or so. Plus, I think enough time has passed to where third gens are beginning to be looked at as collector's items and a decent (and affordable-attainable) restoration project. I've seen a few clean 3rd gens - Kevin- yours and your friend's both look great!
What I've been realizing lately is that..sooner or later..our 4th gens may be looked at in the same was as the third gens have been..
Fourth gens will be "old and dated" (well I mean, they're already approx 10 years old..but you get what I'm saying)And Zac, I assume you're not actually putting a rustang slobra in the same category as a TT Gallardo and Bentley, are you?

So what does having owned 2 diff 3rd gens and sold them make me? Lol. I still have the motor of one of them though. Maybe i should swap it into my SS and make a coffee table out of that boat anchor they call and ls1.
