what are z06 motors worth?
 

I know someone who has a Z06 motor from a 2008 or 2009 z06 with 30k miles on it. Car was wrecked but motor is good. Wants to part it out and only wants 2k for the motor.

Am i wrong in thinking i can almost double my money? Motor has had some work to it and is making just south of 600 rwhp

You could make a lot of money off of it but it's a pain in the ass to do, not a lot of people have $7k to drop on an engine they see on Craigslist. If you don't want it let me know so I can buy it and put it in my Trans Am.

are they really worth that much? If i sold it for 5 id make 3k
